The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit card for the UGC NET June Re-Exam 2026. Candidates who have successfully registered for the examination can now download their hall tickets using their application number and date of birth from the official portal. The UGC NET determines the eligibility of Indian nationals for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions in Indian universities and colleges.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Candidates appearing for the re-exam must meet the required educational and age criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Master's Degree or equivalent from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years for JRF (relaxations applicable as per rules). No age limit for Assistant Professor.
- Selection Process: Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of two papers.

Important Instructions & Advice
Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, etc.) to the examination center. Ensure you reach the venue well before the reporting time mentioned on your hall ticket to complete biometric verification smoothly. Do not carry prohibited electronic items inside the examination hall.
