Eligibility & Selection Criteria
The UPTET examination assesses candidates for eligibility to teach in primary (Class I-V) and upper primary (Class VI-VIII) schools across Uttar Pradesh. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the board are declared pass and awarded the UPTET eligibility certificate.
- General Category: 60% (90 out of 150 marks)
- Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC): 55% (82 out of 150 marks)

- Visit the official UPTET portal at updeled.gov.in.
- Navigate to the homepage and click on the 'UPTET Result 2026' notification link.
- Enter your login credentials such as Registration Number/Roll Number and Password or Date of Birth.
- Verify the details and submit to view your scorecard.
- Download and print the scorecard for future reference and teacher recruitment applications.
